Rosella Bondi Blomberg has sung for TOIA on several previous occasions. Members will recall her performance of Neapolitan folk songs in February 2005. She is a native of Naples and studied at the Naples Conservatoire. She has sung professionally in both Italy and the United Kingdom. She is currently researching for a doctoral degree.

Monica Cuneo studied viola and baroque performance at the Milan Conservatoire. She has played professionally in Italian orchestras, including the Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI and at the Puccini Festival. She has also performed in orchestras and as a soloist in Oxford where she now lives.

Tony Parmenter was a founding member of TOIA and for some years our Treasurer. He has always been a keen amateur musician and since his retirement, has returned to his first love, the piano.

Stephen Bateman is an experienced accompanist and teacher of music. He performs locally and enjoys playing in Chamber Music concerts. He is a graduate of Queen’s College, Oxford.

Members will note that this event is taking place, unusually, on a Friday evening because Rosella will need to fly in from Naples for the occasion. We do hope there will be an excellent attendance. Please bring guests if you wish! The performance will finish about 9.30 p.m. A full programme will be available at the door.
